What is the Cost of Fat Injections to the Buttocks?
Buttock enlargement is a complicated procedure that involves a great deal more than just “injecting fat”. I prefer to enhance the buttock area by first performing liposuction in the surrounding areas such as the flanks, hips inner and outer thighs. This alone will help reshape and improve the contours of the buttock area and make the buttocks appear larger. The fat that is removed can be prepared and then re-injected very carefully into the buttock area. Fat transfer in this area requires an artistic eye and a knowledge of the anatomy in order to get the best results. This is the basis for the “Brazilian Butt Lift”.
I have been using the Body Jet Water Based Liposuction Machine for more efficient fat extraction and collection of the fat in a specialized cannister. Using this technique assures rapid purification of the fat and a very high percentage of fat cell viability so that the results are longer lasting.
This procedure takes about 3-4 hours, requires anesthesia, and costs about $8000-10,000 for the surgeon’s fee and additional costs for anesthesia and facility. In order to get the best results 300-500 cc. of fat has to be transferred and that alone is very time consuming. If someone quotes a price that is much less than that it may not be worth doing.
