I like to use combination therapy to get the best results with body contouring using the Slim Lipo Laser Liposuction method. For instance I will use Slim Lipo along with power assisted liposuction in order to remove more fat. Slim Lipo of the abdomen often requires three passes with the laser to get the best results. Slim Lipo will melt the fat cells, permanently removes these cells and tightens the skin.

In some cases I will recommend a diet progran that will preceed having the Slim Lipo procedure. This is especially helpful in cases where weight loss is an essential part of the overall goal. Both use a laser to assist with the liposuction procedure.

Smart Lipo has been around for three years and has been modified numerous times to improve the results. It uses a 1064 wavelength laser that is attracted to water and indirectly melts fat because of the heat generated. It’s great for skin tightening.

Slim Lipo is a newer technology and has a fat specific wavelength( 924) that aids in melting fat. It also results in skin tightening.

Bottom line: they both work and your result will depend more upon the skill of your surgeon than the technology used.

Zerona Laser: Does it take the place of Slimlipo?
